Repair/Service Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair/Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining pool equipment. The right candidate will also be responsible for maintaining a small route.

This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Repair/Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment repairs operate efficiently and effectively.

Duties

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in pool equipment.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on pool equipment using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Utilize an Ohmmeter to measure electrical resistance and troubleshoot electrical components.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance performed, and parts used.
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Repair Technician or in a similar technical role.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including an Ohmmeter.
• Strong understanding of pool systems, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• MUST HAVE GOOD DRIVING RECORD
• MUST HAVE CLEAN BACKGROUND
• High school diploma or equivalent; RAIL License is a plus.
