What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Route Manager position at Pinch A Penny?
We are looking for a motivated person to join our growing company. This management role is responsible for helping oversee the weekly pool service function including the pool technicians and ensuring a positive client experience.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in pool water chemistry, equipment, and methods in a pool company setting. Personal characteristics will require you to take initiative, multi-task, have good communications skills, work well independently and as part of a team, and have or be willing and able to develop excellent management and leadership skills.
Primary Responsibilities: (This list may not include all the duties assigned)
- Managing, leading, and training pool technicians
- Ensure quality customer service and safe and clean water
- Interacting with clients on a regular basis
- The position includes some fieldwork including minor repairs, problem-solving, cleaning green pools, training, and periodically filling in on a pool cleaning route
- Position may also involve new client and pool equipment sales.
Basic Position Requirements:
- At least 2 years of pool company experience
- At least 1 year of experience as a supervisor
- Must be able to work and communicate well with team members and clients
- The ability to work independently, handle a variety of tasks, stay organized, be 100% dependable and accountable, and be friendly
- A positive attitude
- Florida driver’s license with a good driving history
- Careful attention to detail is necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
