Pool Technician Trainee - Pinch A Penny Fort Myers – Great Opportunity to Learn the Pool Industry!
Are you interested in starting a career in the pool industry? This is an excellent opportunity to learn the ins and outs of pool maintenance while working alongside experienced technicians. As a Pool Technician Trainee, you’ll ride along with our team, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge, with the goal of eventually transitioning into a full-time Pool Technician managing your own route.
In this role, you will be trained on essential pool care, including water testing, chemical management, understanding the importance of each chemical, filter cleaning, pool vacuuming, equipment diagnostics, and the basics of salt systems.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
This is a physically demanding position, and the ideal candidate will be able to:
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Work outdoors in Florida’s heat and weather conditions
- Have prior outdoor work experience
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Work well with others
- Provide excellent customer service
- Demonstrate reliability and consistency
You’ll also have the opportunity to learn industry-specific techniques from a team of eight experienced technicians. No prior experience in the pool industry? No problem—this role is open to those new to the field!
This is an outdoor position, and we are looking for candidates who are comfortable working in varying weather conditions, including heat, rain, and sun.
