A Day in the life of AutoCAD Designer
- Utilize AutoCAD to prepare drawings detailing findings of site investigations and recommendations to be included in client reports.
- Assist with on-site investigations as needed.
- Create and maintain data logs when applicable.
- Maintain and enhance quality control within the group.
- Provide field support for Project Associates as needed, including, note taking, sampling, and other job-related responsibilities.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of internal reporting documents (e.g. time sheets, expense reports).
- Lead by example and in accordance with Pinchin’s Core Values and desired culture.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma
- Familiarity with computers, computer systems, MS software, ArcGIS, and/or AutoCAD programs
- Understanding of the environmental or engineering consulting industry would be considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, analytical, attention to detail, and organization skills are critical to success in this position
- Must be detail-oriented and a team player
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to job sites throughout geographic region
- Ability to work in various settings and climates
- Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision.
