We’re looking for a bright and motivated LSP-Certified Senior Project Manager to join our Environmental Remediation Services team in Massachusetts.
As the ideal candidate, you are excited to join our project team to help our clients make informed decisions regarding Environmental Remediation Services, property acquisitions, re-development, and contaminated sites management. Must have a Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional (LSP) certification. The Senior Project Manager position is ideal for someone looking to build their skills for career advancement and professional growth. The ideal candidate will be familiar with relevant Michigan regulations and have at least 5 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.
A Day in the life of Senior Project Manager
Collaborate with Operations Manager to initiate projects including establishing project teams, developing initiation documents, project schedules, statement of work and cost estimates.
Ensure that project teams have the correct resources for technical expertise and to optimize project cost structure.
- Manage project implementation ensuring coordination of project resources to avoid or eliminate conflicts in schedule, and to resolve issues related to scope or resource changes.
- Serves as the primary client contact for assigned projects providing regular updates to ensure clarity of expectations and timely communication and resolution of issues, scope change, etc.
- Maximize project profitability by ensuring that project costs are managed within project budget and communicate budget changes to appropriate client contact/staff.
- Meet or exceed utilization, cost-offs, A/R, project gross profit targets.
- Prepare and submit timesheets, purchase orders, equipment, and expense reports in a timely manner and in accordance with Pinchin LLC’s SOPs to ensure timely and correct client invoicing.
- Design and/or provide supervision and technical support for field investigations, field assessments, remediation system installation and evaluation.
- Provide ‘final senior review’ to all reports, letters, work plans, etc.
- Mentor junior and technical staff to share expertise and enhance their technical and professional learning.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the Pinchin team
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an environmentally oriented field
- 7 years of professional experience in an environmental consulting or engineering company
- Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional (LSP) certification required
- Project management and budgeting experience
- Demonstrated success in client acquisition and retention
- Ability to effectively plan and execute projects, prioritizing work, and communicating scope changes in a timely manner
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organization skills are critical to success in this position
- Must be detail-oriented and a team player
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to job sites throughout geographic region
- Ability to work in various settings and climates
- Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision, and the ability to pass a company physical.
