High School Math Teacher

LOCATION:                             Pinckney Community High School (9 – 12)

SALARY:                                 Placement per Professional Staff Master Contract

CONDITIONS:                         Per Master Contract

STARTING DATE:                   2025/2026 School Year 

QUALIFICATIONS:                

Minimum

• Valid Michigan Secondary Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in Math (EX).
• Ability to design and facilitate lessons and activities with clear standards-aligned learning targets and success criteria.
• Ability to effectively assess student learning, implement strategies for student engagement, and promote student ownership of learning.
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum and pedagogy and math content.
• Demonstrated proficiency in establishing a safe, collaborative classroom environment and culture.
• Ability to develop and maintain appropriate relationships and rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability and proficiency in professional collaboration and communication.
• Demonstrated proficiency in usage and application of technology, preferably the Google platform.

Preferred

• Additional endorsement area in Science (DX/DI), Computer Science (NR), Technology/Design (TX) or Educational Technology (NP).
• Experience with project-based or deeper learning principles and practices.
