Foreclosure Paralegal

Job Description

Pincus Law Group, PLLC is seeking a foreclosure paralegal. The ideal applicant will have an understanding of the various stages of the Pennsylvania foreclosure process and ensure cases are proceeding accurately and timely, while also assisting attorneys. Any experience working on NJ files is a plus.

Essential Functions

• Completes workflow and ensures tasks are timely completed

• Reviews reports as assigned to accurately capture all files within their particular stage

• Inputs client status updates daily, both internally and externally in client tracking systems

• Identifies issues and escalates files to appropriate person

• Reports to attorney workflow within assigned stage

• Prepares case notes and Court documents prior to attorney appearances

Competencies (Ex: Detail Oriented, technical capacity)

• Must be detail oriented

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites

• Experience utilizing LPS and Tempo

• Strong knowledge of foreclosure practices and guidelines

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners.

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.
