Schedule & Setting
- Hours: 7AM -3PM or 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday (variable based on surgery day or patient day)
- Setting: Outpatient plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine
- Preparing patients for procedures
- Preparing the operating room
- Assisting the surgeon as needed
- Checking and documenting inventory of surgical supplies daily
- Picking supplies for cases
- Turning over the operating room
- Sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Interacting with the patient before and after surgery
- Providing expert clinical care to post-operative patients
- Monitoring for complications or adverse reactions
- Assisting with patient education and surgical planning
- Following patients from consultation through surgery and post-operative recovery
- Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of patient care
- Assisting in preoperative assessments and collaborating with the surgical team
- Opportunities for injectables training and aesthetic procedures
- Valid RN license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the OR
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and best practices
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced plastic surgery practice
