New and Used car prep detailer

We are currently interviewing for full time and part time New and Used car prep Detailers both entry level and experienced.

The following responsibilities of a New and Used car prep Detailer are as followed:

· Work 40 hours for full time employees/ 30 hours max for part time employees.

· Work schedule that is assigned to them which could include Saturdays and holidays.

· Effectively work in both a team environment and by themselves.

· Safely and effectively moving vehicles around dealership and to other dealerships.

· Properly document all vehicles on daily log sheet.

· Communicate effectively with other departments.

· Assisting service department with customer issues relating to their vehicle.

· Properly prep and clean sold cars, loaner vehicles and demos as per detail department guidelines. This also includes any vehicle that a manager needs cleaned. This includes washing and drying of entire vehicle including engine, tire, rims and all door jams.

· Installing and Cleaning of all interior carpet and/or leather with proper chemicals and tools.

· Cleaning of all windows both inside and out.

· Install pinstripe, door edge guards and wheel well moldings when requested.

· Use proper chemicals and machines to remove bad odors from vehicle.

· Effectively wax and polish all vehicles with proper equipment.

· Proper understanding of all chemical and tools used to properly detail vehicle.

· Assist service wash when needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s License with a clean record
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to pass a drug test
