Director of Nursing
MUST be a team player and lead by example. Be willing to work a cart and take on call.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the organization
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication and teamwork
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care provided, implementing improvements as needed
- Manage budgets and resources to optimize efficiency and productivity
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in nursing management
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Valid nursing license in the state of employment
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and reimbursement processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
