We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and laundry areas, ensuring that all linens and garments are properly laundered and presented. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help create a welcoming environment for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning of resident rooms, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing techniques.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items efficiently.
- Handle dry cleaning items with care, ensuring they are processed correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness in laundry facilities and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety standards while performing cleaning tasks.
- Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry products.
Skills
- Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of laundering techniques and fabric care is an asset.
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
