What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Pine Cradle Lake Family Campground?
We are currently accepting applications for a full-time housekeeper. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity! This seasonal role will give you the benefits of having work throughout the spring and summer months (May-October) with time off to travel, relax and spend time with family between seasons. This role is the perfect opportunity for a mother looking to re-enter the workforce. Candidates need to be available to work most Sundays, rotating Saturdays and on our busy days throughout the week as needed. Our housekeepers must also have an eye for detail and be able to complete repetitive tasks.
The primary responsibility of our housekeepers is to make sure that all cottages, cabins and public restrooms are cleaned daily for our guests. Other essential functions include:
-Conducting an inventory and replenishing supplies per housekeeping procedure
-Reporting maintenance repair problems to supervisors.
-Daily laundry duties.
-Ensure all guest/work areas are kept neat, clean and organized.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
-Previous housekeeping experience is a plus
-Valid driver’s license
-Ability to work efficiently
-Ability to follow instructions
-Resourceful self-starter
-Must be able to work well individually or with a team
-Ability to adapt quickly to changing tasks
-Dependable attendance and punctuality
-Open availability is also a plus
-Prolonged periods of movement/standing
-Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, lifting and carrying
-Ability to use housekeeping equipment which includes basic cleaning equipment, ladder/step stools and golf carts
-Complete cleaning requirements within a set time frame
-Must work well in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
