Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring that all areas are welcoming and hygienic. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service. Previous experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
- Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages as needed.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to meet health standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
- Assist with special projects or deep cleaning tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred; experience in hospitality settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and staff.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.
