Pine Electronics, Inc., is seeking Electronics Assemblers for either full-time or part-time employment. The position is responsible for general electronics assembly that includes operations of a repetitive nature on electronic and mechanical components using samples, schematics, simple drawings, as well as written and verbal instructions to perform assembly work.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Able to distinguish colors for color-coding purposes.
- Excellent eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity to work with very small parts.
- Communicate effectively and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and managers.
- Capable of working independently to complete daily work assignments.
- Understand and follow written and oral instructions.
- Satisfactory results from all pre-employment screenings.
The candidate will be expected to perform the following essential functions:
- Read work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies.
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components into products or systems; crimp, stake, screw, bolt, rivet, solder, press fit, or perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place, using hand tools, power tools, machines and equipment.
- Position and align parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.
- Operate drills and drill press.
- Follow safety and environmental regulations.
- Comply with Quality Management System procedures and requirements.
- Train in machine operation within hand soldering, wave soldering, selective soldering and automatic inspection areas.
Preferred Additional Experience:
- Familiarity with basic measuring tools, electronics, and mechanical assembly tools.
