Pine Hall Brick is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team, responsible for maintaining the general ledger, reconciling entries, and processing payroll and sales tax returns. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in accounting or finance, basic accounting knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions and reports.
Requirements:- Update and maintain the general ledger
- Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
- Bank statement reconciliations
- Processing payroll and tracking payroll data
- Processing sales & use tax returns and payments
- Maintaining subsidiary accounts by posting, verifying, allocating and reconciling transactions
- Preparing and filing documents (monthly/quarterly/annually)
- Other duties as assigned
Educational, Experience, & Skill Requirements
- Associate degree in accounting or finance preferred
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Understanding accounting best practices
- Data entry skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Produce work with a high level of accuracy
- Professionalism and organization skills
- Ability to work independently
Work Schedule
Monday – Thursday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday, 7:30am – 1:00pm
