1 part-time (24 hours per week) opening working 7am-3:30pm 3 days/week with rotating weekend and holiday responsibilities.
Job Summary:
As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of the building including resident rooms, restrooms, support areas, furnishing, linens and residents’ personal items/ clothing. Each member of environmental Services is trained in Housekeeping and Laundry.
Work Environment/ physical requirements:
- Works in well-lighted, well-ventilated work areas
- Exposure to blood and/or bodily fluids
- Stands, stoops, lifts and bends, pushes heavy machines and furniture
- Pulls and walks continuously during the workday
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Position Requirements/abilities:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
- Must be self-motivated to complete tasks without supervision.
- Must be able to communicate with residents, families, visitors, and other members of staff with tact and professionalism
- Position requires weekend and holidays (rotating) as assigned by Dept. Director
- Attend required facility training and dept. meetings
- Must be able to pass a background check through the MN Department of Human Service
