Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to residents and initiate referrals when necessary.
- Conduct regular screenings to determine the need for intervention or treatment.
- Evaluate residents to gather data for treatment planning and implementation.
- Communicate evaluation findings to residents, families, and team members.
- Establish individual resident schedules in conjunction with other team members.
- Develop treatment plans by identifying target lists, including short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve identified goals.
- Coordinate treatment plans with residents, families, and other team members, implementing and conducting treatment as outlined.
- Monitor residents' responses to intervention and modify treatment as needed to attain goals according to physician orders.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competency or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year.
- Ongoing continuing education and professional development.
- Current state licensure or license eligible.
