Job Duties
- Provide psychological treatment and counseling for patients/inmates, individuals, and groups.
- Conduct psychological evaluations/risk assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate Individual Treatment Plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Evaluate and document consultations regarding youth showing signs of or expressing intent to harm themselves or others (DTO/DTS) to ensure safety.
- Admit patients to special treatment programs.
- Participate in clinical treatment planning for adults, admitting them to specialized treatment programs.
- Provide clinical oversight in the absence of the Clinical Director.
- Develop and maintain psychological program youth files, including treatment plans, progress notes, reports, and case summaries.
- Respond to crisis calls after hours on a rotational basis.
- Conduct/review research in mental health, sex offender treatment, recidivism, psychology, and special needs of youth population.
- Present case study reviews to clinical team members.
- Provide court testimony as an expert witness.
- Foster cooperation and dialogue with facility departments/staff through meetings, staffing, special activities, and consultation.
- Review programming effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
- Participate in professional development activities, including in-service training for program staff.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate training programs.
- Participate in conferences and professional organizational activities.
- Maintain continuing education credits.
- Provide supervision and clinical oversight to doctoral-level interns, practicum students, and master-level clinicians working towards advanced licensure.
- Assist administratively by reviewing treatment plans and progress notes for quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Perform other assigned duties.

Psychologist Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid, unrestricted Psychologist license in Arizona
- BLS/CPR card is required
