Pine Hill Elementary School is seeking a Speech & Language Pathologist for the 2025-2026 school year.
Job Description:
-Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students
-Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and in consultation with teachers, parents, and other professionals
-Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language difficulties, using evidence-based techniques and interventions
-Monitor and document students' progress regularly, and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
-Collaborate with teachers to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom curriculum and activities
-Educate and train teachers, parents, and other school staff on strategies to support students communication skills in the classroom
-Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess and support students with other special needs or learning disabilities
-Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing input on students' communication goals and progress
Stay updated on the latest research and development in the field of speech and language pathology, and apply that knowledge to practice
Job Requirements:
● Massachusetts Speech and Language Licensure
● Citizenship, residency or work visa required
● ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
● Experience working with students in a school setting with academic, behavioral, and/or emotional challenges, learning or developmental disabilities, or autism preferred.
