Grade/Level: High School Graduate (or equivalent) preferred
Work Schedule: Hours vary
Monday-Friday
Some Saturday’s req.
POSITION SUMMARY
Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Team leads can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the production process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis. May participate in making management decisions affecting the work. Includes team leaders who work as part of the team.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Perform quality checks on products and parts.
- Package finished products and prepare them for shipment.
- Rotate through all the tasks required in a particular production process.
- Shovel, sweep, or otherwise clean work areas.
- Review orders to ensure work is performed correctly and on time.
- Complete production reports to communicate team production level to management.
- Determine work assignments and procedures.
- Train employees on job procedures.
- Know all departments Lead positions (Job descriptions available as you go through the rotation)
- Safety authority on the production floor when management is not present.
- Maintain proper communication with employees, supervisors, other leads and management.
- Follow and enforce safety guidelines, GMP’s and SOP’s set forth by Miller Poultry.
- Maintain a positive attitude regardless of the situation.
