Description

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Display friendliness and helpfulness at all times, to Members, Guests, Visitors, Business Partners and fellow Associates.
- Adhere to all Property and Department policies and procedures.
- Observe all safety and security procedures. Use equipment and material properly. Report potentially unsafe conditions.
- Present menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food, Beverages, Wines and service.
- Relays order accurately to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
- Perform assigned side work.
- Greet Member/Guest in a timely, friendly, professional manner. Use Member/Guest’s name at least three times during service period.
- Efficiently delivers and serves food and/or beverage orders.
- Station restocked for next meal.
- Check out with supervisor.
- Knowledgeable of menu items, preparation and prices.
- Responsible for the financial accounting of each station according to established procedures.
- Proper use of Infogenesis system.
- Responds to and informs supervisor of any Member/Guest questions, complaints and suggestions or maintenance issues.
- Attend Resort training classes as required.
- Attend outlet staff meetings as scheduled.
- In this position you will be expected to be available to work in various locations of Food and Beverage outlets depending on business levels. In addition, you will be expected to work holidays wherever needed even if your primary outlet is closed.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Have the ability to write simple correspondence. Have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, the associate must have knowledge of the Infogenisis software system.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Associate has the following requirements: ability to stand and walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, taste and smell. The Associate occasionally is required to balance and stoop, kneel or crouch. The associate is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
