What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatrist position at Pine Rest - Telehealth Psychiatry?
Pine Rest is seeking Psychiatrists interested in providing Part-Time OR Full-Time Telepsychiatry services to patients of all ages.
Flexible options exist for the Psychiatrist either as part of a traditional practice in a Pine Rest setting or from the Psychiatrist’s home or professional office elsewhere in the United States to various patient locations. Patient care needs exist in many settings including:
- Outpatient Behavioral Health
- Inpatient psychiatric units, including State Hospitals
- Community Mental Health partner agencies
- Consultation Liaison services to Hospitals
- Residential Programs
- Integrated Behavioral Health in Primary Care practices

What Will You Do?
Within the framework of the organization is responsible to be a professional caregiver who provides assessment, counseling, treatment and gives referrals and advocacy services for person’s served. The Psychiatrist is also responsible for upholding the highest quality care, keeping with all standards and bylaws set by government agencies as well as Pine Rest and client hospital/agency. The Psychiatrist must demonstrate excellent customer service and have enthusiasm about the program and the Pine Rest organization.

What Does This Role Require?
•M.D. or D.O. degree
•Current Michigan State license as physician and surgeon.
•May require National Certification in Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or board eligible within 5 years.
•Completion of an accredited four-year psychiatric residency program.
