We are looking for MRI Technologist who (with limited supervision) executes MRI examinations with attention to detail and dedication to quality imaging. This technologist must be capable of working alone to review the order, obtain the patient history, perform the exam with reformatting and verifying all images successfully sent to PACS.
Requirements:
- ARRT Registered Technologist, MRI
- Certified Radiologic Technologist License issued by State of Florida
- Current BLS from the AHA or ARC
- Excellent I.V. skills preferred.
- Good communicator, and most important, GREAT attitude
Operates a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.
Selects appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware.
Enters and monitors patient data, transfers images from disk to magnetic media to produce the transparency, and develops film in an automatic processor.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
Works under general supervision.
