What are the responsibilities and job description for the Float Pharmacist position at Pine Ridge Physicians Regional Health System?
Float Pharmacist - Full Time - Variable shifts and every other weekend. 3 days a week at the Collier campus, other shifts may vary from the North and Pine Ridge location.

Requirements:
- Education: Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
- A licensed Pharmacist in the state of Florida.
- PGY1 residency or a minimum of three (3) years of clinical hospital experience, preferred.
About the job:
- Provides safe and effective drug therapy management to improve the outcomes of patients.
- Works centrally and de-centrally to perform all functions of a Registered Pharmacist including clinical interactions with the health care team, patient care monitoring, accurate dispensing and supervisory of the pharmacy technicians
- Consults with physicians and nursing staff to ensure the best patient care and evidenced based medicine.
- Ensures that the physician’s orders are evidenced based and that the best pharmaceutical therapy is initiated appropriately.
- Provides educational services to patients and healthcare professionals
- Participates in the training of new pharmacist, residents, students and technicians
