Hourly rate of $18.90

Job Summary :
The Merchandiser is responsible for enhancing the appearance of the Pine State Beverage portfolio through innovative POS on the sales floor while upholding customer service levels at accounts throughout their route. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, have a strong work ethic, and a passion and enthusiasm for the beverage industry as a whole.
Territory : covering accounts throughout the Bangor area.
Position Responsibilities :
Survey the store for product needs in main selling area, cold box and out-of-aisle displays
Stock shelves, cold box and displays with product from delivery or backroom storage area
Review date codes when stocking beer and rotate product as required
Review vintage dates and label changes when stocking wine. Rotate product as required
Enhance appearance of all company products by pulling merchandise from shelves forward, facing labels to front and repack product in correct carriers as needed
Dust product as needed
Organize back stock inventory at accounts and work to floor as needed
Ensure that all point-of-sale in hanging over correct product and is clean and readable
Communicate out-of-stocks, missing point-of-sale, pricing errors, and other problems to Sales Representative and / or Sales Supervisor in a timely manner.
Adhere to work safety guidelines established at each account.
Assist accounts’ customers as needed.
Qualifications :
Valid Maine driver’s license and safe driving record along with reliable transportation.
Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
Physical ability to lift, carry, and rotate product on a daily basis.
Time-management skills and ability to work independently.
Willingness to work within safety and customer service guidelines established at each account. Professional appearance.
Flexibility to work extended hours as needed, including weekends.
Physical Requirements :
Regular and sustained periods of strenuous physical exertion requiring ability to lift, carry and position objects weighing up to 25 pounds using proper body mechanics.
Continuous walking, standing, bending, and climbing within customer’s accounts. (i.e. Supermarkets, Convenience store, etc.)
Push / pull U-boats of product from the back rooms of stores into aisles or coolers to stock shelves.
Significant periods of time spent in a vehicle, traveling to accounts within assigned territory.
Exposure to variety of environmental conditions : weather, temperature, lighting, and noise as determined by driving conditions.
