Description: SCHEDULE: 40 hours, Monday – Friday; 8:30am-5:00pm, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. This position may be designated as essential to program operations in the event of an emergency. The incumbent must be available to work Thanksgiving and Christmas days.
Pays $27.18 per hour DOE
LOCATION: 444 Harrison Ave Boston, MA 02118; some remote work may be available, but this role will require on-site and event-site presence as a regular part of the duties of this role
Summary
The Coordinator of Engagement and Events is a forward-facing role interacting directly with donors and key partners. The coordinator plans, manages, and coordinates Pine Street Inn’s events and engagement opportunities to deepen Pine Street’s relationship with individual and corporate donors and prospects. The coordinator will work in close collaboration with Advancement leaders to design and implement compelling, interactive, and individualized event opportunities aimed at strengthening relationships with small, targeted audiences, including current donors, corporate partners, prospective donors and other key stakeholders and constituencies. .

Requirements
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong and persuasive verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
REQUIRED:
- Three (3) years of relevant events and/or engagement experience in a non-profit environment
- Demonstrated track record of successful philanthropic event fundraising
- Experience managing the work of multiple vendors in preparation for events, from the bid process through post-event briefing
- Self-motivated, multi-tasker, superior attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Ability to tailor communications to specific audiences
- Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to produce reports, memoranda, briefings and presentation materials for internal and external use
- Experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred
