General Manager / VP role available with a well respected manufacturing company. Full P&L responsibility for a heavy manufacturing facility. Non-union.
Location is about 30 minutes from Charlotte, NC.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the business. They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of people
- Manage operations and finances of business
- Drive development of employees
- Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained
- Coordinate activities with manufacturing, production control, purchasing, planning, maintenance, and quality control to optimize production and resource utilization.
- Change management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, finance, engineering, and human resources, to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Production, Purchasing, Materials, and Manufacturing Services Departments.
