Pine Valley Center for Rehabiliation and Nursing is seeking a Registered Nurse Educator to join our growing team!
JOB SUMMARY: Plans, develops, directs, implements (with assistance of Director of Nursing) and monitors program of orientation and education for all facility personnel. Coordinates staff development with nursing service program. Coordinates & conducts CNA training. Participates/Assists in educational programs for the facility. Maintains proper recording and compliance per DOH guidelines. Provides nursing personnel with the appropriate education, training and experience on an ongoing basis for carrying out their assigned responsibilities and organizational goals. Participates in quality assurance tracking of programs and nursing service personnel. Has the ability to flex schedule to accomodate all facility personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- COVID-19 Vaccinated
- (RN) Registered Nurse with a clean and current New York State license
- Previous Nursing Home experience as a Manager or Supervisor
- Prior experience with providing education to staff
- Ability to make independent decisions, to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality education and nursing care.
- Knowledgeable of nursing and infection control practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to the health care field.
