As Staff Development Coordinator, you are responsible for:
Restorative
- Job Summary - responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing restorative nursing programs to help patients regain and maintain their highest level of physical function and independence. They work closely with nursing staff, therapists, and patients to ensure individualized care plans are followed and progress is monitored.
Infection Control
- Job Summary - responsible for implementing and monitoring infection prevention and control programs within the healthcare facility. They work to prevent the spread of infections by educating staff, developing policies, conducting surveillance, and ensuring compliance with infection control standards and regulations.
CNA Class
- Job Summary - responsible for providing classroom and clinical instruction to students enrolled in the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program. The instructor ensures that students acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to provide quality patient care and successfully pass certification exams.
Other:
- Filling in for Cart Nurse as needed.
- Any other job duties assigned by ED or DON.
Qualifications:
- Education - valid nurse license (LPN or RN)
- Experience - 2 years of nursing experience in LTC (required); 3 years experience in restorative (preferred);
