Summary
Pine View Transitional Rehab, a 30-bed short term rehab facility, in Ogden, Utah is looking for a Director of Nursing to join the team. In this role, you will lead and support our dynamic team of nurses and CNAs, build relationships with patients and their families, and impact lives through the care you provide. The Director of Nursing is responsible to plan, organize, develop and direct the nursing staff and department. Through adherence of current federal, state, and local standards, and our commitment to clinical and rehabilitative excellence, you will ensure the highest degree and patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and maintain the nursing program and activities by following written nursing policies, procedures, manuals and objectives.
- Monitor patient admission and discharge procedures.
- Participate in surveys and inspections.
- Identify deficiencies and develop and implement appropriate plans of corrective action.
- Ensure that medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charts are completed and accurate.
- Provide updates and recommendations to the Administrator concerning department operations.
- Assist in planning and preparing the department’s budget for labor.
- Coach, teach and mentor.
- Complete a monthly schedule for Nurses and CNA’s.
- Oversee COVID-19 testing and reporting requirements.
- Support AHC culture by promoting “Friendly, Positive, and Focused on Excellence”.
- Protects the legal, financial, and moral well-being of Advanced Health Care.
- All other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
- Must be a state licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
- Must be knowledgeable of general and rehabilitative nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, guidelines, and regulations.
- Preferred previous experience in a hospital or health care facility with at least one year of supervisory responsibility.
- A positive attitude, and a genuine love and care for the geriatric population.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to walk, sit, stand, bend, reach, lift, and move about.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
