Bartender Job Description
We are searching for a committed, proactive bartender who enjoys working in an exciting, fast-paced environment while promoting growth of the business by ensuring that patrons are receiving excellent drinks, food, and service. Friday thru Sunday Brunch and Dinner shifts available.
In order to succeed as a bartender, you should be observant and have the ability to think critically and efficiently. You should be a skilled communicator with excellent problem solving, observation, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of beer, wine and cocktails is a must. Ability to participate in drink menu building and execution to entice customers and drive up sales is required.
Qualifications
- *****Prior Bartender experience required*****
- Must be a team player and interact exceptionally well others
- Excellent time management, organizational and self- management skills
- Ability to work under pressure during high volumes
- Confident, self-driven, dynamic and loves to learn
- Has a strong ability to take direction and suggestion from others
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have reliable childcare
- be able to stand or walk for shift
- Be able to lift 50lbs
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including latin cocktails, beers, and wines.
- Promotes and up-sells the beverage products and services to all guests
- Ensure all responsible alcohol service laws are followed
- Maintains exceptionally clean, safe and organized work areas at all times
- Thoroughly preps the bar for the next shift.
- Works private events as needed.
