Summary
We are seeking a Food Preparation Worker to join our dynamic team at Pineapple Sol. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the high standards of food quality that our customers expect.
Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines and/or by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, kitchen, and storage areas.
- Ensure all kitchenware and equipment are cleaned to health and safety standards.
- Remove trash and recycling, and ensure proper disposal procedures are followed.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic prep tasks and restocking as needed.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Notify management of any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages
Requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from chefs and kitchen staff.
