What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fund Accountant Consultant/Intern (6-12 months) position at PineBridge Investments LLC?

We are planning on an immediate start date for this position, with the duration lasting 6-12 months. The role will be based in New York with the expectation of a hybrid work model. Our preference is for this intern to work at least 30 hours a week.
As an intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our Alternative Finance fund accounting team in accurately and efficiently managing financial data related to our investment funds. You will gain valuable hands-on experience in fund accounting operations, financial analysis, and reporting in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Work with the fund administrators in preparing and processing wire payments.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation to monitor fund 's cash activity.
- Assist in the preparation and review of NAV packages and financial statements.
- Assist in reviewing capital calls and distributions.
- Support the team during internal audits, external audits, and regulatory examinations by preparing relevant documentation.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned by the fund accounting team, which may involve research, and data analysis.
- Correspond with other internal PineBridge teams and external parties to complete projects assigned by the fund accounting team, including but not limited to reconciling receivables and payables to and from the investment funds.
