Job Description

Western Veterinary Partners is seeking a relief veterinary technician to serve hospitals in Utah. This position is a part-time position that will require travel to multiple hospitals within Utah. The schedule for this position may include some Saturdays and candidates must have at least 2-3 days of availability a week.

Technicians with 5 years of hands-on experience are encouraged to apply!

Compensation :

Compensation : $19-25 / hour, based on experience and skillset

We’re looking for :

Team player who is willing to take on a wide array of tasks and help where needed

Individuals with a strong work ethic and a desire to grow their professional network

Someone with exceptional communication and multi-tasking abilities, who pays attention to detail

Technician who has experience working with small animals

Individual who enjoys travel and is willing to commute between hospitals in Park City and Salt Lake City Area

Veterinary technician with 5 years of experience

Candidates should have a full range of technical skills and experience with :

Dentistry - prophy and radiographs

Anesthetic induction and monitoring

Venipuncture

Surgical assistance

Patient handling and restraint

Sample collection

Pharmacy duties

Lab work

Client communication and education

And more!

Western Veterinary Partners is a Veterinary Support Organization that acquires, partners with, and supports veterinarians throughout the U.S. We have several locations throughout Utah that are committed to client education and utilize technicians to their fullest capabilities. Our hospitals see a range of patients (including exotics) and vary between single-doctor and multi-doctor practices.
