Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent graduate and early-career professional looking to develop their marketing skills in the construction industry. The Marketing Coordinator will support branding, communications, and business development efforts through content creation, event coordination, and digital marketing initiatives. The position will report directly to the CEO to coordinate and brainstorm the overall marketing strategy and follow through with implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the development of marketing materials, including proposals, pitch decks, brochures, and client presentations.
· Manage social media accounts and create engaging content to enhance the company’s online presence.
· Update and maintain the company website with news, project updates, and blog content.
· Support proposal and bid preparation, including gathering project details and designing layouts.
· Coordinate industry events, trade shows, and sponsorship activities locally and regionally.
· Participate and represent company at local trade groups, networking events, community events and nonprofit events.
· Coordinate and gather project photos before, during and after construction and incorporate into our marketing platforms, social media and other marketing content.
· Assist in internal and external communication efforts, including newsletters and press releases.
· Assist company executives in market research to support business development and competitive positioning.
· Maintain a library of marketing assets, including project photos, case studies, and client testimonials.
· Collaborate with project managers, business development, and design teams to ensure brand consistency.
· Track and report on marketing performance metrics.
Qualifications:
· Minium 2 years of work experience outside of Bachlors Degree
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
· Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic design tools (Adobe InDesign, Canva, or similar).
· Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Experience with CRM or marketing automation tools is a plus.
· Interest in the construction or real estate development industry is preferred.
· Teamwork and a good positive attitude
· Ability to communicate and positively engage with a vast variety of age groups and education levels
