Project Manager
Pinecrest Construction & Development Co. – Reno, NV
Pinecrest Construction & Development is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager to oversee and execute key administrative and managerial duties across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong project management expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to drive projects from contract to completion efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of fully estimated projects once they enter the contract phase and begin construction. Your responsibilities will include:
- Prioritizing and scheduling project scope to meet deadlines.
- Managing budgets and project costs to ensure predictable financial outcomes.
- Overseeing subcontractors, materials, and equipment to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Collaborating effectively with owners, construction managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Run OAC Meetings and Subcontractor meeting.
- Manage all contracts, risk and liability associated with managing construction.
- Extensive understanding
Estimating Assistance & Review
The Project Manager will also contribute to the estimation process, working closely with ownership to ensure competitive and accurate project bids. Duties include:
- Leading and coordinating competitive bid processes to provide thorough and accurate estimates.
- Reviewing bid documents, identifying potential conflicts, and ensuring complete scope coverage.
- Assisting in project feasibility studies and cost analysis.
- Preparing bid packages and managing subcontractor solicitations.
- Negotiating pricing with both clients and subcontractors.
- Preparing subcontracts, purchase orders, and cost control budgets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience managing commercial and tenant improvement projects.
- 5-10 years of experience estimating construction projects for a general contractor.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and scheduling software such as Microsoft Project.
- Exceptional Excell Skills
- Experience Procore is required, with an expectation to integrate into the software within 3 months.
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Thorough experience and understanding of project billing and financial controls for large construction projects.
- Extensive understanding of large construction projects and all the permitting and compliance requirements encountered in this type of construction.
