Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool patrons while providing excellent guest services. This role requires a strong swimmer with the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations. The Lifeguard will also assist with pool maintenance and cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
Duties
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
- Perform rescues and administer first aid or CPR as needed.
- Conduct regular checks of pool equipment and facilities for cleanliness and safety.
- Assist in pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring water quality meets health standards.
- Provide exceptional guest services by answering questions and addressing concerns from patrons.
- Participate in regular training sessions to maintain certifications and improve skills.
Qualifications
- Current Lifeguard certification, CPR, and First Aid certification required.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues effectively.
- Experience in guest services is a plus, fostering a welcoming environment for all visitors.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for pool maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques and equipment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be attentive, responsible, and able to remain calm under pressure.
