- New Business Development: Identify and prospect potential clients, including hedge funds, asset managers, and financial institutions, to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their challenges and provide tailored solutions.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to define and execute sales strategies, including go-to-market plans and customer acquisition approaches.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on market trends and the competitive landscape to position Pinegap as a leading solution in equity research.
- Deal Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutual value for Pinegap and its clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to deliver a seamless client experience and gather feedback to inform product development.
- Proven track record (3-5 years) in B2B sales, preferably in financial services i.e. Alphasense , Tegus , Bloomberg etc, SaaS, or technology solutions.
- Experience selling to hedge funds, asset managers, or similar verticals is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of equity research workflows and financial data platforms.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a consultative selling approach.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, balancing strategy with execution.
- Based in New York or willing to relocate, with the flexibility to travel as required.
