Position Overview: The Accounting Representative will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the Accounting department.
This part-time position has the opportunity to evolve into a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Over-the-Counter (OTC) transactions, including cash/check disbursements and deposits
- Process received payments
- Accurately input data into accounting software
- Utilize a variety of software to create, maintain, and communicate daily reports
- Responsively address emails and phone calls as necessary
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Experience: General accounting/bookkeeping experience required
- Software Knowledge: Proficiency in QuickBooks or other financial software
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting
- Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and time management
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
