Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to service Members and Guests at the bag drop. A welcoming smile with the appropriate greeting is essential to providing a warm welcome to Pinehurst Country Club. Securing clubs on a cart and assistance with directions if needed and “have a great day/round” contribute to an enjoyable experience while on property.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or (GED) required and a minimum of one year related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires being on your feet for the majority of your shift and the ability to move quickly, jogging to retrieve vehicles in a quick and safe manner. Must be able to open doors, drive automatic and manual vehicles and be able to safely operate a variety of vehicles.

- Retrieve and load golf bags on carts for play.
- Clean clubs and have ready at the bag drop for pick-up at the time of departure.
- Complete assigned cleaning duties.
- Assist Golf Professionals with staging for Member outings.
- Be knowledgeable of the local area and assist with directions.
- Transport bags to and from Club Storage and special event staging area.
- Inspect and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Wash golf carts if needed.
- Detail and perform routine maintenance on golf carts.
- Cross train in other areas when requested by supervisor.
