Job Description
The Clinical Staff (CMA, General Clinic RMA, or LPN I) are multi-skilled health professionals who work interdependently with other healthcare professionals to provide quality healthcare to patients.
They are trained to perform both administrative and clinical skills. The goal of the clinical staff is to optimize outcomes and improve the quality of life for patients through efficient, cost-effective care.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing clean and comfortable environment for patients.
- Performing all duties in a timely and efficient manner.
- Scheduling follow-up injections as needed.
Administrative Duties
- Documenting patient communications and treatments accurately and appropriately.
- Answering telephones and responding to clinical voice mail messages per policy.
- Obtaining prior authorization for medications.
Quality Assurance
- Accurately documenting all patient history, injections, and patient education per clinic policy.
- Inputting charges, notes, etc. into TouchWorks per policy.
Maintenance and Safety
- Cleaning rooms and changing linens per clinic policy.
- Disposing of all biohazard material per clinic policy.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting, Surgical Tech, or Practical Nursing Program.
- Current Certification or Licensure with no restrictions.
