Description :
This position is PRN- mostly Saturday's but some during the week if needed.
SUMMARY :
The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI Tech) works under general supervision to perform diagnostic procedures for patients using an MRI Machine. Responsible for patient safety and the performance of high quality MR studies. Insures effective communication with customers, including radiologists as necessary.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
- Responsible for patient safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aspectic injection technique, etc.
- Produces high quality diagnostic images.
- Orders supplies and cleans the workspace.
- Effectively communicates with customers, doctors, and / or other staff members.
- Trains new MRI Techs and / or support staff.
Refer to the department policy and procedure manual for procedure specific personal protective equipment requirements.
