Summary
The primary goal of the position is to aid in providing a welcoming, clean, and distraction free environment while people are ministered to at Pinelake Church. This is done through maintaining the facilities and grounds of the campus to a high level of excellence set by the leadership of Pinelake. This position will also assist the Reservoir Facilities Supervisor and Once Church Project Manager. The Facilities/Grounds Maintenance Associate primarily focuses on maintaining Pinelake grounds (summer months) and Pinelake resources making sure they are ready for use and all work is done in accordance with and to the standards of Pinelake; and all in accordance with Pinelake’s policies as well as the direction of the Pinelake leadership.

Bachelor’s degree minimum; and four to six years of related experience and/or training.

General Responsibilities
- Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake Church.
- Basic personal responsibilities:
- Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, meditation and practicing L3.
- Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).
- Faithfully support the ministries of Pinelake by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you.
- Maintain active participation in community.
- Reflect a growing awareness and practice of personal Emotional Healthy Spirituality.
- Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24).
- Value the 7 H’s of our staff culture in your heart, home, and life (Humility, Honor, Honesty, Hunger, Holy Spirit, Health and Harmony).
- Maintaining two 10-acre fields during grass cutting season, along with weed eating where needed.
- Completing routine maintenance on all Pinelake’s’ resources (lawn equipment, tractors vehicles, golf carts, trailers etc.).
- Identify and repair plumbing leaks, including, openings clogged lines/ drains, replacing washers and other minor parts, etc.
- Repair the walls and woodwork when needed.
- Pressure-wash walkways and buildings.
- Assist in moving furniture and equipment.
- Grounds work as assigned, including trash / debris removal, sweeping/blowing parking lots, walkways, etc.
- Assist Facilities Supervisors with ensuring campuses are ready to open after storms are in the area.
- Special projects and other duties assigned.
- Assist the Facilities Supervisors with various other tasks when asked.
- Assist the One Church Project Manager and schedule needed maintenance to all equipment and resources.
- Assist One Church Project Manager with minor projects at all locations.
- Responsible for the proper use and maintenance of all assigned equipment used for maintenance and/or housekeeping to ensure proper operation, safety of the operator, and participants, accountability, and security of the equipment.
- As a team member, cooperate with other staff members and follow the leadership of the Senior Pastor, Senior Associate Pastor, Director of Operations, Director of Facilities and the Facilities Supervisor(s).
