Summary
The Student Associate at Pinelake Church, Madison Campus, under the oversight of the Lead Student Pastor, will lead, shepherd, and collaborate with the Student Team to shepherd leaders, students, and families within Pinelake 56 & Pinelake Students. Much of this will be accomplished through investing in leaders who live out the ministry vision to reach the church body and the community for purposes of learning from Christ, living in Christ and leading others to Christ.

General Responsibilities
- Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake Church.
- Lead, shepherd, and collaborate with Student Team under the direction of the Lead Student Pastor to work toward excellence in all areas of the ministry.
- Basic personal responsibilities:
- Maintains a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, and meditation.
- Maintains proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).
- Faithfully supports the ministries of Pinelake by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you.
- Maintains active participation in an adult-group.
- Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24).

- Serves as a leader and resource for all students, servant leaders, and parents.
- Establishes yearly goals and objectives for the ministry and initiates strategies to fulfill them under the leadership of Lead Student Pastor.
- Recruits, assimilates, and develops a team of servant leaders to engage and lead students and families.
- Supports the ministerial efforts of Pinelake 56 ministry and Pinelake Student ministry.
- Collaborate with multi-campus Student Ministry staff and the One Church Director of Student Ministry to create and implement a Biblical strategy for reaching students, leaders, and families.
- Participates in the planning, execution, and evaluation of all components of the student ministry gatherings.
- Creatively plans and promotes events and opportunities for student engagement and growth ¬– including catalytic experiences like United Wknd and summer camp.
- Recruit, assimilate, equip, and encourage small group leaders to have successful disciple-making moments, interactive small groups, and a good understanding of the overall purposes/plan of the ministry.
- Supports the assimilation of students and families into the ministries of the church.
- Develops relationships with the administrators and students in area by facilitating in-school visits, attending extra-curricular functions, and serving as a resource to the schools.
- Engages students in local, national, and international missions’ experiences in collaboration with the One Church Missions Team and Student Team.
- Serves as an active part of the Madison Campus Staff Team and follow the leadership of the Campus Pastor.
- Provides oversight for and leadership of Pinelake’s Our House Promise strategy.
- Assist in managing and stewarding the budget for Pinelake 56 & Student Ministry under the oversight of the Lead Student Pastor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supervises and coordinates work with servant leaders.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include working with the One Church Staff Team to interview, hire, and evaluate performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and administering payroll, vacation/paid time off and other personnel procedures.
