The BH director oversees all Behavioral Health programs/services. Render professional, administrative and programmatic services in supervision total operation of Behavioral Health departments. Make provision for clinical training to professional staff. Directly and indirectly supervises a large staff of professionals and paraprofessional support staff in the diagnoses, evaluation and treatment of emotional, cognitive , mental, behavioral and co-occurring disorders, illnesses and conditions. The work schedule is varied and flexible. This is an exempt position.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, or other closely related human service field. A total of 5 years of professional experience in the education, training or treatment of individuals with behavioral health needs, three of which is in supervisory or administrative capacity.
Preferred Qualifications: Fully licensed professional of either LPC, LMSW, PHD, etc.
Candidates must posses a valid Georgia Driver's license with no suspensions in the past 5 years or have 6 or more points in the last 7 years of their driving record.
The offer of employment is contingent of passing a drug screen and background check favorably.
