What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Support Professional position at PINELAND BH/DD CSB?
This position is to work full time as an Intake Counseling Support Professional at Tattnall Counseling Center, located in Reidsville, GA.
Under general supervision, assesses, screens and counsels' clients in a variety of program areas performing social services activities to enhance, meet or restore their functioning capacity. Develops or participates in case management/care plans. Provides case management/case coordination services to clients/consumers. May supervise paraprofessional level staff.
QUALIFICATIONS : Licensure by the Georgia State Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, Psychologists, and/or Marriage and Family Therapists is required . Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, sociology, education, nursing, vocational rehabilitation, or other appropriate therapeutic discipline and two years of full-time (or equivalent part time) work experience in social service delivery in provision of professional therapeutic services to individuals with disabilities.
Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the stated qualification, possess one or more of the following: experience supervising other treatment and admin staff, designated Mental Health Professional.
