What are the responsibilities and job description for the House Manager position at PINELAND BHDD CSB?
The House Manager for Community Housing oversee and manage the day to day operation of a personal care home. As the House Manager you will interview, train and directs direct care staff as well as acts as the case manager for the consumers in the home.
The HM is responsible for linking individual served to services, advocating and training individuals served in independent living skills. This job woks a 40 hrs work week but must adjust his/her schedule to meet the individuals needs of the individuals served. Flexibility is preferred and desired because this program is unable to guarantee shifts or specific days off.
Minimum qualifications: Be at least 21 years old. Have a physical examination stating free of communicable diseases and able to work in a home, prior to employment. Have the ability to drive a State car with a clear MVR. Have at least 1 year of experience in social service deivery. High School diploma or GED is required, prefer someone with Associates.
Selected candidate must past background check, drug screen and motor vehicle report screen and be able to attend 8 mandatory days of training.
