About the Role:
As a Special Education Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with NJ Student Learning Standards
- Adapt instruction and provide accommodations based on IEPs
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, clinicians, and teaching teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and progress reporting
- Integrate technology and behavior support strategies to foster success
Qualifications:
We welcome candidates who possess or are eligible for a CE, CEAS, Provisional, or Standard NJDOE teaching certificate in one or more of the following:
- Teacher of the Handicapped
- Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD)
- P-3, N-8, or subject-area certifications (Math, English, etc.)
