HIRING PERSONAL COMPANION/CAREGIVERS for the PINELLAS COUNTY AREA. We have multiple positions available.
Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening.

- Transport them to and from appointments, classes, errands, and social activities
- Provide conversation and personal engagement
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Prepare meals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including changing linens, vacuuming, doing dishes, and taking out trash
- Remind them to take their medications
We have Full-Time and Part-Time openings for qualified Caregivers. Starting pay is per hour, and flexible schedules are available. Starting pay is $16/$16.50 based upon experience and hour with ADP approved credentials and Level 2 background screening check.
Job Requirements -Please apply if you meet the following requirements:
Must have reliable transportation. Must be accountable to our client's service schedules. Please DO NOT APPLY or Interview if you would ever do a NO CALL/ NO SHOW with a client.
- Ability to communicate both verbal and written.
- Capable of working responsibly with confidential information.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license and proof of car insurance.
- Must obtain and pass level 2 background screening prior to employment (AHCA).
- Minimum Age - 18 years old.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma.
- One-year experience preferred (On job training available).
- Some Computer knowledge (we are willing to teach, if needed)
- Free training available. APD courses are a prerequisite to work with our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
- Help clients with physical therapy exercises
- Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
- Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
- Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Skills
- Proven experience as a caregiver
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR and First Aid required within 90 days of hire date.
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

- Physical endurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass Level 2 background screening
Credentials -Certificates of Completion for APD approved Zero Tolerance, Direct Care Competencies, FDOH HIV/AIDS, HIPAA. Classes on FREE and online.
