The Intern Will Gain Knowledge And Experience In
- Environmental-related codes, laws, rules, ordinance, and regulations.
- Engineering, project or construction management, environmental science, natural resources, conservation, infrastructure, or other closely subjects.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, plats, maps, aerial photo, and diagrams.
- Mathematics and natural, physical, and biological sciences.
- Our ideal candidates will be self-motived with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills. Additionally, this candidates shows knowledge, experience, and/or interest in environmental impacts and management and regulatory compliance.
- Study program(s) of Pinellas County Utilities.
- May prepare reports for staff related to assigned projects.
- May analyze and present data to management.
- Some clerical assignments such as scanning or filing.
- Performs other related job duties as assigned.
- Currently enrolled toward a degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university or on a leave of absence from an accredited educational institution.
- Experience with basic computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Some experience with infrastructure.
- Some experience with construction Management.
- Some experience with Project Management.
- Ability to apply computer applications and software.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to analyze moderately complex assignments.
